Private Sessions

Private sessions are a joy!! I love to witness an individual’s (or pair’s) significant transformation over time. Yoga is challenging, and the more you learn, the harder it can be. We are always moving forward with more information and wisdom and, hopefully, less of what has no place in our lives. More often than not, a student learns through private sessions how to rest more so their practice is stronger and well-rounded.

Yoga is a practice, not a performance with an endpoint. A student who practices privately benefits from a teacher seeing what the student cannot see given the inevitable limitation of our own blindspots.

Don’t let the profundity intimidate you. We also (if you want to) talk about the books we’re reading, the movies we’re seeing, the snacks we’re loving, the music we’re listening to. It’s like having an extra engaging weekly tea party with gentle and decisive physical adjustments that, according to my dad, “feel really good.”
